  1. Sorry haven't logged in here a while. In case anyone is wondering they are Fuel Maverick 20x9 +20mm and Nitto Exo Grappler 275/55 20 tires.
  2. Mine are 20x9+20mm and 275/55 tires. As you can see in the earlier pic above there isn't much room. A few on here have ran 285's with +20mm but it's got to be very close. Check my gallery for other pics.
  3. Yep personal choice and I think most manufactures over do it with chrome. Alt least with trucks you can get the option for color matched from the factory.
  4. If you wouldn't mind a new van Apple Nissan in York PA carries Quigley converted NV's in stock. If you go to their website the are listed under the "Commercial" tab. We had our delivered to Indiana for a modest fee. http://www.apple-nissan.com/commercial-new-inventory/index.htm?search=&saveFacetState=true&model=NV+Passenger+NV3500+HD&lastFacetInteracted=inventory-listing1-facet-anchor-model-3 We dealt with Jonathan Bloom who was very helpful. wow didn't realize how old the original post was, lol
  5. The NV is our second Quigley converted 4x4. As you know they are a class act all the way.
  6. I wonder what the breakdown between passenger vs. cargo looks like for the others, and production numbers. There aren't usually many NV passenger vans at the local Nissan dealer. I don't go by super often but have never seen more than one on the lot.
  7. Curious if the image quality of the back up cam is any better with the Pioneer screen. Not sure if the factory image is lackluster due to the camera or resolution of the nav unit. The factory works but could be better, my Ford and GM factory screens have much nicer image quality.
  8. The automakers need to do a better job at offering more passenger friendly vans, and styling. A big part of the problem vans present to us are comfort and amenities. Our last van a 2014 Chevy Express left me feeling GM could care less about building a comfortable van for families. Despite our efforts to make the Express what we wanted if fell short. They make great work vehicles but really suck for families. I would bet the now discontinued E series is about the same. Now we are left choosing from the Transit, which to me just felt flimsy and awkward after putting about 1700 miles around Utah in one. I was actually looking forward to getting back in our Express. Bring in the NV which covers many of the other vans shortcomings. Its still a few options off from a well equipped mini van or nice suv, but its close. Nissan could really hit it out of the park for minimal dollars by adding a few things like adjustable pedals, padded arm rests, power slider, a few others. These items could be optional. At the end of the day if you have a large family or need more than 7-8 seats your options are limited and the automakers know this. Nissan is heading in the right direction though. I have no experience with a sprinter. Our 15 passenger Express. We had around 65k wrapped up in this, far more than our NV and was disappointed. The NV is better in so many ways. Ended up giving it to my sister.
  9. One of the cool things about a cargo van is that kind of flexibility.
  10. I have the AMP steps on my F250. It would be great if they made them for the NV.
  11. This is all I have. We wanted to do 6 headrest monitors but the posts in the passenger rows were too narrow.
  12. I had linked this to the NV page on Facebook but will share here as well. We recently had a nice audio/video system installed in the NV. Normally I like to do this type of thing myself but wanted to see what a professional had to offer. We ended up with a very nice sounding system that rivals most anything I've heard before. Basics of the system are JL 900/5 amp Audiocontrol LC7i Hybrid Audio stage 4 Clarus component set JL Audio 12TW3 in a custom box 44 sq ft of SoundSkins deadner. Also have 4 drop down monitors unsure of the brand. They are set up as 2 different systems so my older boys are not stuck watching Frozen with the littles. Kinda jealous since the NV is primarily my wife's, this thing rocks and sounds so good!
  13. Be aware if you have the front sensors the new bumpers may not have them. From my limited searching not sure if you can get a black bumper with the holes already, but if its just a basic round hold this shouldn't be a problem. Alternatively you could get your bumpers media blasted but that would mean more downtime. Also take a look at the black grill I think its textured? Pretty sure the mirror caps are available in black for cheap. Have you thought about vinyl wrap?
  14. Not a bad idea at all, especially for those little passengers who can't explain their comfort level.
  15. It does look that way but it could also be the angle. I can say the little spikey things barley glance the door. Not enough to leave a mark though. I do think the +25 is probably a better/safer fit.
  16. Nice camper! We are considering a travel trailer or toy hauler in the near future. A few models from Coachmen are high on our to look at list.
  17. Looks great! There are not many 20" wheels with that much positive offset so thats a good find. We were able to use a +20mm offset with no clearance issues but it is VERY close. The terra grapplers are good tires. Had them on my last pickup and my current one as well. This is all the clearance on ours. No way are you getting a finger in there!
  18. I like it. There is a bit too much chrome on the NV IMO. Easy way to break it up.

  20. Saw 3 other passenger vans today. One at mass and two on the road. Also saw a couple high top cargos. I personally know two families within a couple miles that have nvps's. We just got ours so will probably notice a lot more now lol.
