  1. I wasn't planning on moving the license plate. I live fairly remote and doubt it will be an issue.
  2. Finally got around to adding a spare tire carrier for my oversized tires. Of course now the camera just sees tire. I know I've seen people talk about the add on to have a camera in the top break light but reading through the threads it doesn't seem like people really like the quality. Is there a better option? Bonus if theres something that I can use on the van and then move to the back of my travel trailer when thats in use. Maybe a wireless camera with magnetic mount or something?
  3. Spam and ran? I like how he says "nicer looking racks". I think his rack looks alright. Curious what its made from though and it looks like its screwed or riveted together maybe. Wonder how long that would hold up. We've had an Avatar Offroad roof rack for a few years now. It's held up nicely. Some of the powder coat has scratched off on the top where we've stored kayaks and what not. To me that seemed normal wear and tear.
  4. Ever since the addition of a roof rack my satellite reception has been intermittent. Has anyone moved the antena or installed a different one, maybe onto the hood? Would also love to know where the satellite radio module is that the antenna ties into.
  5. I second the ask for the Indel B model number. equipt1.com lists 7 variations. I'd hate to order the wrong one.
  6. jwilson - did you find a solution? Sliding door shims or modify the door panel?
  7. I'm pretty sure they use Avatar Metal Works for their aftermarket parts. You can find them here: https://www.avatarmetalworks.com/nissan-vehicle-accessories Did you go with the Vanguard side steps? I'd love to see how they turned out.
  8. https://www.avatarmetalworks.com Avatar Metal Works has a bunch of aluminum off road accessories specific to the Nissan NV and Titan. I've contacted them and their prices seem on par with Aluminess as far as their safari roof racks and front and rear bumpers go.
  9. I've recently found these Avatar off road bumpers in Utah https://www.avatarmetalworks.com/nissan-nv-3500-bumpers . It looks like they support a winch and or a light bar. Has any one here tried them yet? Got photos?
  10. I hadn't seen the white on white before. Looks good
  11. So I was too cheap to spend the $2500 the dealer wanted to black out the chrome on my new NV. Then I found some youtube tutorials on plasti-dipping badges. It seemed easy enough and for a $6 can what do I have to lose. It came out nice enough. Now I'm just wondering how long it will last. Also wondering if the dealer would have used essentially the same thing or used something sturdier. IMG_1748.HEIC
  12. Has anyone tried these Street Dirt Track lift kits on Amazon? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07QKTSV6K/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  13. Avatar Metal Works has some really nice safari racks and ladder options made specifically for the NVs. https://www.avatarmetalworks.com/ I stopped by their shop and checked them out in person. Very nice quality. They are definitely next on my modification list.
  14. Curious how this turned out. Or if anyone else has different lift kits that they've used.
