  2. I notice a squeaking of the door when on a bumpy dirt road. It is more pronounced when cold. The door has not been looked at any further to see what causes the sound. Maybe one day my wife will drive and I can sit in the back and find out what is going on. The single seats squeak and rattle too.
  3. I agree on the plastidip product. It is cheap and can be removed. Good way to test and see if like the color change.
  4. 2nd row sticks once in a while for the kids. maybe 10% of the time. No problems with the front ones so far.
  5. I will take the radio or at least the navigation card. Mine is missing. Cool looking van with the 4x4 sticker!! 231-744-6221 jason
  6. My light has been on since I got it. My first trip to the dealer my van was loaded in the back with equipment, so the dealer took and hour and a half to tell me they could not find the issue and i should install all the seats and come back. None of the rear seats have a wire or a connector that I can see. I am not sure, but I cannot afford to lose a work vehicle and a full day of work.
  7. I have pulled a 10000 pound travel trailer with no problem.
  8. I was trying for a Chevy Suburban or Yukon XL, but the 2013 and 2014 are not even a bit reasonable for what you get. When I was in Denver last year, I saw a black NVP 3500. I really thought it could do what I needed, so I took a chance and bought one. I already had a pathfinder (1988-1998) and a 300Z . Then I bought a 370Z to replace the 300Z. Nissan vehicles have been very reliable, just like the subarus i have owned. I currently own 4 chevys. All of the ones before computers are good. My 2001 Chevy silverado is a great driving truck with a nice motor, but everthing is broke or has broke around the vehicle. With the NVP, I drove all year in the worst Michigan conditions 130+ inches of snow and mostly ice. I did get stuck a few times because I backed the vehicle over ledges and learned my lesson. The vehicle handles very well for it's size and I look right over the roof of a normal suburban. We have two sets of twin boys ages 12 and 7 with a large golden retriever. Everyone can get in and out without trouble and I can carry more family members out with us for dinner and events, which actually saves gas VS two or three vehicles. I think the headlights suck. I will be upgrading those soon. The side door is heavy and will need a bit adjusting. I have to close it hard to get the lights to go off. That is another problem. I want to add a switch to completely kill the overhead lights. Kids don't always listen. I couldn't be happier with my great white whale. New rims and accessories will make the great white shark. :)
  9. The book says 6 and 7/8 quarts. Why they billed you for eight is because they guessed. maybe they kept pouring until it overflowed a quart on the floor. I did a 7 Quart purchase of QS 5W-30 full synthetic with a Fram tough guard filter. About $42 total.
  10. My single back seat will make noise sometimes. Most of time my seats are out for hauling stuff. You do have to push the sliding door shut, unlike the electric sliding door of the Chrysler.
  11. Do you want to explain the defects that you speak of. I own a Chevy Silverado with 80,000 miles plagued with defects. Gas gauge broke, Antilock brake computer error, broken manifold bolt, coolant leak, and I just replace both front Hubs. It is now my Plow truck. I was looking at a new Yukon XL and/or Suburban. The price is not even close to being worth it. The most problem free new vehicle I ever owned was my 1988 Nissan Pathfinder and I treated it like a truck. I look over the top of a chevy suburban in my NVP 3500 with stock wheels. I can comfortably take 10 adults and two kids with ease. The far back seats in the suburban are only good for small adults or kids. The Chevy has a smoother ride. But if you compare to a Chevy 3500 series, that is stiff too.
  12. I was thinking about the Morimoso kit http://www.theretrofitsource.com/hid-systems/morimoto-elite-d2s-hid-system.html
  13. Has anyone bought a Xenon Headlight conversion kit for the NV? Which one did you use and would you recommend it?
  14. I will have a look sometime for you, unfortunately the weather is not on my side. The sensors do go off when there is a trail of rain that runs down the bumper or if they get any snow on them. Good thing there is an OFF switch on the dash.
  15. Yes, the reflection is annoying.
  16. I had taken a trip with the Van across a couple of states and as I started, I noticed the Airbag light was on. Only the front seats and the dual seat behind the driver were in when this happened. I stopped at the dealer that was along the way and they could not do anything without plugging something in to the seat connectors for a test. The van was loaded and I already lost an hour so I went along my way. They reset the code. It came back on the next day while driving. I am not sure how the removable seats connect or transmit info from van. Any ideas on something I could look at?
  17. It's a dirty white beast in this Michigan winter. My Average MPG was just around 16 going from Mi to Wi and back through Chicago. not sure what the city millage is like. I am always putting gas in it when the price drops.
  18. The NV is the parking garage for the Z. :) I have the low top. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6MasocIBqaE
  19. I have had several Nissan Vehicles in the past, so I am looking forward to the new one on the way. I should take delivery of a 2013 NVP 3500 with Nav and towing package in glacial white. Bye Bye town and country. And I will probably get rid of my Chevy 1500 cargo too. Insurance is cheaper on the brand new nissan by about $485 a year compared to a 2005 chevy. Go figure. I can't wait to see how this does with my trailer. First upgrade is a real horn.
  20. Plan on using mine to pull a small 16' Fiberglass ski boat and once in a while the 30' trailer. The CHevy Silverado with the 5.3 handled it with no issue and the thing ways almost 10,000pounds.
