ADVICE APPRECIATED! Hello all! I'm not new to the forum but I RARELY post (plus I haven't had an NV in over a year now). This forum has always been great to me though! LONG story short, I had a great 2013 NV2500 V6 high roof that I turned into a gorgeous camper (with an S-Load of help from my carpenter friend). Technically though she was still a work in progress, but I had such great plans for her... in August 2019 she was totaled. ROSIE! My dear sweet Rosie! I LOVED HER SO MUCH!!!!! *ahem* Anyway, I am searching for a new one! Time for camper 2.0!!! I want the same thing, but new enough that there is still a little bit of that fancy 5yr/100k warranty on it (at least a year). The only difference is this time I think I'm going with a V8. SOOOOOO..... any advice on buying one? My first purchase experience was not great but I also know a billion times more about these vans now. Any advice on any lil detail is appreciated. Hell, even purchase sites... I'm currently stalking.... carmax, cars, autotrader, cargurus dot com + craigs list. I just missed a sweet one online (in Ohio... I'm in San diego, CA)... she was a "Cheyenne Red" 2018 *swoon* but I know anything other than white is nearly impossible. SILVER would be the holy grail! I like red more, but silver would attract less sun. ADVICE APPRECIATED!

Selling my Aluminess NV Roof Rack and rear ladder. It’s a full perforated floor with low profile rails. I’ve add the 2 adjustable cross bars as well. The rear ladder is from Advanced 4x4 and matches the roof rack. There is no drilling on any parts and sits perfectly on the NV. The rack gives a great vantage point to check the surf, watch kids sporting games, or just getting above the crowd. You will need to arrange your own shipping as needed. $4500 rack and ladder does not include shipping.

Hey everyone, my first Van Build video was posted here by another user a couple of weeks ago and I have now joined this forum and thought I would share my most recent build video going over wiring and ventilation. Hope this is helpful to some of you. And here is my original video in case you missed it. -Dude in a Van

I'm looking to attach a few panels to the walls and crossbeams on my 2013 Nissan NV2500 High Roof using Rivnuts and Plusnuts (Cross Nuts) but I can't seem to find the wall thickness information. I have the service manual and the bodybuilder's guide but I can't seem to find the information in there and I need it in order to get the right grip range (thickness) for the nuts. Thanks

hello everyone: this has been the best place for me to obtain information to assist with any issues that i have with my trnsition from pickup truck. currently, i am in need of some assistance. i own a nissan nv2500 hightop v8. i am looking to purchase the torque t32 toyhauler bumper pull which weighs 8400 dry. i will need to tow this from texas to colorado. the rv dealer thinks that this may be pushing it since the tow capacity for nv2500 hightop v8 is 9500. needless to say, i am perplexed because i am under the impression that i can safely tow 9500 lbs as per nissan. does anyone have any insight or experience with pulling a trailer this size. any information will be greatly appreciated. thank you in advance!!!

Hello Everyone, Picked up our 2014 NV2500 Friday and took it on it's first job Saturday. So far, I'm loving the potential. It came with shelves, some of which may go, and just enough upgrades in the creature comforts area, but not "overdone." I will need to get the backup camera that's discussed on here as I have drivers that will need it. However, overall I found it very easy to drive. The hardest thing to get used to is that from the drivers seat, it "looks" larger than it is. I was going down a narrow road and while I kept "feeling" like I was wide, especially when I'd meet an oncoming vehicle, it could clearly see in the lower mirrors I was well within my lane. Same for backing up, and feeling I'm too close just to find out I still have a couple of yards to go. Same when parking nose in, thinking "i'm there" and it turns out... I actually have a couple more feet. Something else of note is the turning radius which is quite impressive. Had to pull a couple of U-Turns that when I started was thinking would be K turns, but it fit... We ended up with the NV2500 because we had a 16' cube van with a lift that I don't think we ever loaded fully, which is just plain dangerous. We also had an AstroVan that (aside from being on its last legs) was only really big enough for small deliveries and small events. The NV2500 with it's high-roof, means we can most always "fill" the space by either putting the Cambros (hot boxes) on the floor, or stacking them depending on what else we have to bring. For the most part, I don't have to "strap" stuff in. I'm great at packing and nothing like having a big square space to load and lock everything in on it's own. Oh yeah, forgot the most important aspect for me. I'm 6'4", and I can stand up in the Cargo Area !!!!! I couldn't do that in the 16' box truck !!!! That also means standing up 6' tables. The only addition so far is the Fire Extinguisher and a piece of particle board on the floor and edge guards on the doors.
