I am impressed. I think I should get out more. There is tab on the top of the linked site that does it for each country. I don't think it does it for individual states/regions of each country though.

I thought it would be fun to see where everyone else have traveled in their van. (I am copying this idea from another forum) This website (https://www.amcharts.com/visited_states/#) allows you to click the states then when you are done, you could simply export the map to your computer.

285/60/20 is just about 3 inches larger in diameter than stock 245/70/17. I have not tried this size, but I am guessing that it won't fit. Another item to consider, I recently switched the stock tires on 10 mm offset wheels to DuraTrac 245/75/17 (which I was originally thinking of using only for winters). On paper, DuraTrac has smaller tread width than the stock tires. The gap between the sliding door and the tires is visibly reduced with DuraTrac. I think it has to do with the aggressiveness of the tread also. If you do try this size, please let us know how it goes.

Agreed. But the OP's towing need is very modest (actually within the towing specs of Nissan van ). In that case, a little improvement of the new engine might be sufficiently comfortable for him go that route. I like Diesel, but I am afraid that its days may be numbered. I suspect that in my lifetime, I will see majority of workhorse vehicles replaced by non-Diesel. The monster torque machine a gas engine cannot be. But electric motor seems promising, at least at this point. Apparent, its torque numbers are impressive.

You could always purchase 2017 NV van with the new 5.6 engine. It's evolutionarily better than the older 5.6 and looking at your needs, it just might work for you without any expensive mods. I am looking forward to seeing how electric truck technology will be implemented. On paper, everything looks great. . . . but . . .

This sounds like 'rail dust'. For a new cars, they are from the transporting process from the factory to the city where you live. This is a common problem. I have no problem with stock rearview camera. What exactly didn't you like about it? My 2010 Tundra didn't come with a backup camera, so I installed Pioneer HU and Pioneer camera. The camera was expensive, but night time view is excellent.

Lack of cargo mat was puzzling to me (since Nissan offered the floor mats for the first four rows. Since I keep one two-seat unit off 99 % of the time, I wanted some mats for cargo space. I could find absolutely zero item for our Nissan NV. I ordered rubber mats (4'x7'--1/4" thick) and just cut it to fit the cargo area. Not pretty, but it will serve the purpose.

Nope, I have not heard of this before. I am not sure what you mean by 'had the door open' since it's sort of difficult to NOT have the door open. Do you mean someone tried to force it open and broke it in process?

Years ago, the ignition mechanism went out on my Ford van. I was told that the heaviness of the key ring was the likely culprit. Ever since then, my key ring has always be minimalist. In addition to the van key, I have our house key and the Giant Eagle card (we get our groceries and most of our fuel from there). Every thing else is on my second key ring which is attachable to the first ring.

Welcome to the forum from Western PA. I wish NVs had interchangeable after-market parts with Titans.. Shopping for anything for NVs requires a lot of patience and some creativity.

A Chevy van was my DD during my twenties. I hated getting to the engine by taking the console apart. Then I always felt uneasy about the possibility of not sealing it properly. I love my NV van. I love its front end.

Looks great! NickyDaP, his set-up should not have any rubbing. I have same width wheel (8.5) with more aggressive offset (10 mm offset) and larger tires (245/75/17) and there is no rubbing. His tires do look stock.
