  1. Welcome and congrats from Western PA. Nice pictures. We will be driving to see the sonar eclipse also. Very excited.
  2. As long as the bolt pattern is the same and the bore size is at least 121 mm, they should work. Older Dodge heavy duty trucks used to have bore size larger than 121 mm. Current Ram trucks have the bore size slightly smaller than Nissan NV. Typically non-OEM wheels have larger bore size than the OEM ones.
  3. Erie, PA. Wife went shopping and noticed this twin van parked next to her van. The near one is ours.
  4. Here you go, andy-george. That's one very larger trailer.
  5. Welcome and congrats from Western PA. Get some pictures up when you get a chance.
  6. Are you sure they didn't send the wheels with the wrong offset (0 mm offset)? I have 17x8.5, 10 mm offset and 245/70/18 tires. So my outer edge of the rim should be 10 mm closer to the door than yours and 1/2 tires width (10 mm) should compensate for the difference. So with your set-up, you should have a gap very similar to mine. As you can see, the gap between the tire and the door is definitely larger than on mine than on your set-up.
  7. Welcome and congrats from Western PA. I have four children also and they all love the van. Post some pictures when you get a chance.
  8. Looking at the set-ups of Lj1983 and JCattSS, I would say that size should be fine as long as the offset of the wheel is not too low. Aim at something around 20 mm or higher.
  9. Look at JCattSS's gap picture and mine above. They look to be very close. Here is a comparison: Mine: 10 mm offset, 8 & 1/2 inch width with 245 mm tread width JCattSS: 20 mm offset, 9 inch width with 275 mm tread width Since 1/2 of 1/2 inch width difference between these two wheels is 6.35 mm, the outer edge of my wheel is 3.65 mm further out than his. Since his tread width is 30 mm wider than mine, 1/2 of this (15 mm) will affect the distance to the sliding door (gap). If the tread width directly impacts the tire position, you would expect the gap in his set up to be 11.35 mm (15 mm - 3.65 mm) smaller, which clearly is not the case. I think what's happening is that it's the side bulge of the tire that affects the gap, not the tread width. In other words, the width of the tires is more forgiving than the offset and the width of the wheels. In short, I think you will be fine with 18 mm offset wheels 9 inch width with 285 tread width. You will be close though. I would not go with 305. Edit: You may run into bit of difficulty with the diameter of 285/60/20. This size is three inches larger (33.5 in) than the stock tire. Widthwise, you should be okay. Perhaps you should go with 385/55/20.
  10. I don't have any experience with roof rack, but I want to welcome you to the forum nevertheless. Since we have a utility trailer, the urgency to get a roof rack is not really there for our situation. But when we eventually get one, we will probably go with Aluminess (or maybe someone else will offer a better option).

    Seat covers?

According to Amazon, this seat cover does not fit Nissan NV (neither 3500 nor 2500). Am I missing something?
  13. Welcome and congrats from Western PA.
  14. Welcome and congrats from Western PA. Got any pictures?
  15. This thread was tremendously helpful to me in choosing my wheels. Here is my contribution to the thread. Just got stock tires (245/70/17) mounted on American Bunker 17x8.5, offset 10 mm. As you could see from the picture, I still have a comfortable gap between the sliding door and the tire.
  16. Thanks for the input. My wife and I sat down and estimated that our yearly mileage to be substantially higher than our previous estimation of 8k. Since we still have almost new stock tires, and since wife seems to be very happy with DuraTrac's winter performance, we decided to get a second set of wheels. American Bunker and we had stock tires mounted on them. Wife loves the wheels, but hates the stock tires' looks. Well, she just has to wear them out, haha.

  20. What is the width and offset of your wheels? What tire size did you go with? Could you post some pictures of how far the tires stick out?
  21. LED's are bright, but unless you have the proper housing, you will get worse illumination and blind oncoming drivers. I wasn't into retrofitting so I went with Philips Crystal Vision (on Tundra, not NV). From what I understand, ExtremeVision is somewhat better in terms of illumination, but CrystalVision is whiter.
  22. On vacation (Long Beach Island, NJ), I see these beauties.
