Has Nissan done anything new for 2020?

Missing from “new” forum
radin2son replied to radin2son's topic in Nissan NV Forum, Feedback and Help
This is the most annoying missing feature: links that will not open. OR, should that be “Missing are links that will open.” Links currently will not open on old and new posts. -
What have they replaced? Let us know how it is resolved.
-
Check to see if yjmoose89 has been on line recently. Just click on name. If not, pm moose...

rawhyde-offroad.com (Link doesn’t want to open but it is correct even though it is more of a motorcycle site. Find events on menu, or just google Zakar 2020.) There also are YouTube videos. Adventure days 2019 at Rawhyde Zakar. On March 12-15, 2020 in the Mohave Desert, there is a 4x4 event. Sportsmobile is or has been a sponsor so expect to see lots of Fords and Sprinters. Rawhyde also is in Colorado. Cost is $389 for one or $500 for two in one vehicle.

Forum members: location, vehicle(s) owned, and who has been on line recently. If state location is a is a privacy issue, then region would be helpful. Does the member own an NV? Like the green currently online. If offline, no way to know if they were on line recently. Another minor issue is “some” older posts were partially deleted.

Another NV camper for sale on conversiontrader.com 2015 NV 2500 V6 standard top converted by Colorado Camper for $68,000. 56,000 miles. Why so much? Supply and demand. Very few pop tops show up for sale and this one is loaded with some interesting stuff. Too bad it isn’t a V8 with 4x4. Quigley or Advanced may have converted V6s at one point. Both convert used vans under 60,00 miles if you have an extra $10-15,000.

“angelinejovan,” NV 2500 HD high top and me & my dog,” posted another video fix in Introduce yourself. Her last post was on 12/18 so no idea if door issue was resolved or how. Regarding how to delete the video, click on edit and it should show you the “uploaded” video separately and “trash can” to delete it. It works this way with photos.

There other posts and fixes floating around, but people rarely update the solution(s). Thanks for taking the time...

I re-read these posts. I can only say I was younger then... I finally gave up on the dealership for service and take it to an independent shop I have been using since the mid 80s. Beyond oil changes, battery, tire and wiper replacement our 2012 requires little attention.

Great info.
-
No problem. I have heard it is expensive no matter what the vehicle. Good to hear they worked with you.
-
Thanks. Great reply!
-
No, but there was another post. Don’t know how it was resolved. About how how much did this set you back?
-
Welcome. Do do you have a rough idea about mpg you get for both the 200 and 2500? There was a recent post about poor mpg for his NV 3500 high top used for business.

Once you get the right key words, “larger gas tank, adding second gas tank or auxiliary gas tank,” it will eventually get you there. Not at all sure how I got to advanced search. Clunky but but works...
-
Sportsmobile forum: 2 other auxiliary gas tank manufacturers, Ujoint and Agile. Caution: if your state does emissions testing, you will need a CARB approval sticker to pass emissions. Sportsmobile “gets big $$ for their transfer flow tank and CARB sticker.”
-
I noticed that. Guess, we “men” can’t read instructions either...
-
True enough, but it took awhile for ASD Dad to get this resolved.
-
If money is no object, Aluminess is just south of you. There are posts regarding other options. Same for wheels, tires and shims for door clearance.
-
The original post is fairly old, so you may want to pm coastalb55.

Engine knock and bad fuel economy
radin2son replied to Marc's topic in Nissan NV 5.6L Engine (2017+)
7.1 mpg is the worst I can recall. Not that it matters, it’s a 28 gallon tank. It still comes down to gas in and miles driven. Another thing to check, does your tank fill to capacity? The nozzle can cut off way to soon. This appears to be a NV filler tube issue. There are times when I have to hold the nozzle to keep it from clicking off. Another would be to check the gas gauge and pump. Hope it is a simple fix. The knock/click is another issue... Keep pushing the dealer on this. -
Engine knock and bad fuel economy

Assuming the conversion is correct, 600 k or 372 miles on a tank seems too high. The few times I pushed 360+, I was looking for a gas station. 3 gallons or 11 liters left. Could there be something wrong with the odometer? Average V8 mpg is around 12 mpg or 19+ kpg. Some high top cargo users reported as low as 9 mpg or 14+ kpg. -
You have nothing to lose by checking with a local dealership and, if need be, pushing it with Nissan Commercial customer services.

That’s not a “bus!” Great looking truck. Even with 2x4, we get to most places. Love “manual mode.” 1. Mud Mountains north of Barstow, CA 2. Ore Mountains south of Barstow, CA 3. “Closed” for season campground in Carson National Forest at 10,000’ between Abiquiu and Cuba, NM
