  1. Hello everyone. I'm Jana and I bought a 2017 Nissan NV 3500 high top brand new a month ago. Using it to safely transport our rescue dogs and family circus show (Circus Stella, named after the dog!) We already have a problem. The sliding door won't open. We have no idea what happened. It was working fine, and now it's just not. It feels like it's locked, even though we're sure it's unlocked. It won't budge. Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions of what to do? We have the manufacturer's warranty to fall back on (hopefully) but we added some sound deadener and insulation. That sort of thing won't void the warranty, will it? The van was SO LOUD in the back, we added some "rattletrap" to lessen the noise. That was simple and easy and has been on for weeks with no problems. I cannot imagine it has anything to do with the broken door. This is such a bummer. I've never had a new car before, and stuff like this is exactly what I was hoping to avoid by buying new.
