  1. I’m not familiar with that style of wdh. What exactly did the adjusting bolt do? A pic of the entire unit may help me...?
  2. I’d personally try to stay at or under 32’ and around 8,000 pounds.
  3. Wow, that’s one of the coolest looking wheel setups I’ve seen. Very nice! It’s surprising the Ram wheels had the correct bolt pattern and center bore. Awesome??
  4. That does look tough lol. Good luck with your info search!
  5. You won’t find more reliability than the NV. I don’t think anyone will refute that.
  6. Lol Rad. Once a racer, always a racer! IMG_9100.MOV
  7. We didn’t have the NV during my racing days, unfortunately. But here’s some racing pics just so I feel cool again lol. Top 2 are my Suzuki SV650 I sprint raced (me in the middle) and the bottom is the R6 we endurance raced. Our garage is lined up with dusty trophies that hold an incredible amount of great memories
  8. Lol, I’m jealous of you both! My riding days are behind me, as the wife suggested I stick to 4 wheels so I could take the family more often lol.
  9. Awesome. My brother had a CB1000 years ago that I rode a few times. We raced in the early 2000’s on an R6. Always good times!
  10. A gas motor like the 5.6 does a fine job for occasional towing. And considering that gas is cheaper than diesel and the gas motors themselves are more dependable with no after treatment or urea, the gains in cheaper operating and maintenance will almost always be to your advantage in the long run.
  11. What type of motorcycles will be carried in back!? Good choice!
  12. Nicely done! Hope it serves you well!
  13. If you’re not going to be close to maximum weight capacity, I’m sure the 2500 will be fine. If you think you will be close to capacity, I’d say just get the 3500 if you can afford the payments. The peace of mind knowing you have all the right parts right off the bat will be nice, and going to sell it someday should get you some of the price premium back. As far as trim, that’s totally based on what you want. I like a little bling, so we went SL. But the blacker models also look tough and fine. I also didn’t bother with Nav. And also never subscribed or used XM unless I had a free trial to burn. I’d think insurance would be pretty similar between either. I wanted silver so it looked less commercial. But white is actually the best choice for the cargo vans as it generally brings more if you sell it. Commercial buyers almost always want white. You’ll love he NV for taking you to and from the races. How far do you travel? -Andy
  14. Lol, good thing fuel is cheap my friend. Pedal down, lol!
  15. Thanks for the info Rad ??
  16. Look good! You’ll really like them. I’ve use Continental ExtremeWinterContact for the past 6 years. Did amazing and lasted longer than I expected for a heavy van application.
  17. I always just got used to the fact that when I switched to the winter set the light would be on. And when I switched back to the spring set the light would continue to be one because of the tire rotation without doing the extremely complicated steps of resetting the system. I just ignored it ? -Andy.
  18. Mine threw a check engine code a few weeks ago. I forget the details, but it was emissions equipment related, something under the hood that was around $150. I erased the code and it never came back, so I’m not terribly worried about it at this point. 2014 NV3500 pass. @ 86,000 miles
  19. I did the rear 02 sensor around 65k miles. Nothing since or before then!
  20. Vans are the most perfect vehicle on the planet I’m convinced lol. Much more useful than most give them credit for! If I could have purchased an NV-style van with a larger gas motor or a more-refined diesel than the Cummins I would have that in my garage instead of the Super Duty.
