It has been dead in here for sure. I firmly believe the main factor is a lack of problems.

I've not heard this complaint before. Can't imagine it would need a charge being a 2015. Take it in would be my advice. I've had 100+ degree high humidity days here in Charlotte and found the rear AC to be adequate.

I'd do it, why not?

New Owner - need feedback
Chris_CommercialManager replied to funkytown's topic in Welcome! Introduce Yourself!
hmmm that is the first time I've thought about reclining seats. I will bring that up at our next meeting, that would be a tremendous selling point now that I think about it. -
Unless your heart is really set on that just have a sign company lay down some color matched vinyl, it will give you all the protection you need with no negative impact. That truckbed liner is overkill for what you're looking at doing, plus it will probably affect resale.

CB/Base Unit Antenna mounting
Chris_CommercialManager replied to breto33's topic in Audio & Navigation
I was going to say, just use a magnet mount. If not I don't really know of a very good spot. You usually want to mount it on metal. Only thing real logical is the body if i were doing it. Can't do rear bumper either. -
I don't know if you are handy, know how to weld, etc. But I'm positive with a little creativity I could get an Adrian Steel drop down to hold a kayak.

Before anyone starts in on reports, or oil analysis stuff let me say I'm old school. First oil change at 1000 is what i tell people. Then every 3k after. Oil changes are so cheap, it is not going to hurt anything to have fresh oil. I have never had an oil related failure. If I were radin2son cruising all highway I could see stretching. my .02

$50 for wiper blades is outrageous. $30 is normal for a good set of blades, even from walmart maybe $25

Well, had another convo with rep. He can't really acknowledge a lot. It seems there are some within Nissan that have a diesel on the priority list. From a sales aspect I don't understand that. I can combat the need the need for a diesel if I get someone in 9 times out of 10 but if someone comes in looking for an extended or cut away I have nothing to offer. Those two options to me would be a much smarter choice for sales and our limited resources and production space on the commercial side of Nissan and at the plant.

Mine got back to me suprised as well. He told me he would dig a little and let me know. I wonder if it's for real.

That is very very interesting bates. Have you reached out to your rep about that van? I just did, wonder if he even knows about it.....I'd assume so!

I agree! I however have not really had too much luck with chromed plastic, especially in your winter climate with that salt :/ Not in the salt of the midwest but near the ocean I remember one time about 4 years ago...I had an H2 SUV to pull my boat around. I went out of town for two months and left it in the driveway at my home is Carlsbad (about 1 block from the Ocean). I returned home to find about 5 thousand dollars of damage the truck. I simply couldn't believe it. The chrome wheels, handle covers, hood vent covers, etc etc etc were all destroyed and pitted. I had not seen anything like it. The only chrome that survived was the stuff from the factory, plastic and metal. Everything aftermarket with no exception was trashed. I have pictures somewhere, if I find them I'll post them :/

Wecome! Used to live out in Portland, absolutely beautiful country out there. I do not miss the rain though. Congrats on the purchase and welcome. What made you go with the NV?

Parasitic load draining battery
Chris_CommercialManager replied to Swingjunkie's topic in Nissan NV 2500HD
Sure sounds like a battery. Don't think you'd be running around with a bad alternator and jump. I personally have never had a client come in with a mysterious draw. Please update this thread with whatever you find, if it is a draw it may be helpful to someone else down the line. -
Congrats and welcome!!

Any one doing Running Boards, Steps or Nerf Bars?
Chris_CommercialManager replied to Darren's topic in Lounge - Nissan NV
We do step bars for a particular customer on all of his NVP's. I am unsure of the brand but they must be very durable. He owns a ton of hotels and uses them exclusively to shuttle people on a daily basis. If anyone wants more info pm me and I'll dig into it a little more. -

Which seats to keep headrests in?
Chris_CommercialManager replied to BuyinganNVP's topic in Lounge - Nissan NV
No, do a google search. If you or someone you know is mildly mechanically inclined I'd imagine you could figure it out in 10-15 minutes. It's impossible for me to know how your system works but if right now it only comes on in reverse you essentially trick the system to always think it's in reverse. Could be a ground or power. Very easy. People do it all the time, ALOT of people with trailers will have a setup like that to keep an eye on things. -
Which seats to keep headrests in?
Chris_CommercialManager replied to BuyinganNVP's topic in Lounge - Nissan NV
If you or someone you know is handy you can install an aftermarket camera and monitor, which is very easy, and simply have it on all of the time to view what is behind you at all times when driving. Problem solved for under $100 :)
