I hope all keeps moving in the right direction for you........

My vote would be against keeping it simple unless your wrapping more for a professional look on the job sight or maybe so people know who you are when you pull up........ vs attracting eyes and increasing business. I did an overall design similair to yours but I wanted people to look, and let me tell you they do. For me, in my business of selling these, my NV wrapped like this has been invaluable to me. If nothing else maybe it will give you some ideas. PS, I know it's a bad pic, it's all I have right now.

Rear sonar sensor problem
Chris_CommercialManager replied to JanuszSki's topic in Lounge - Nissan NV
You are yet another person who does not read things, and wants to troll for problems. I did not make that statement in regards to a problem, yet in reference to the fact that there is no one perfect vehicle for anyone because a vehicle is not designed for just one person, but the general public and will usually represent some sort of compromise. For you to even suggest that if someone came in to me with an issue and suggest I would respond like that is insulting. I have spoken with and tried to help many people here, on my own time, because I care. I do the same for my customers that purchase here. You sir, should read things before you start throwing insults. -

Upfitter Switches

For the awesome warranty? In all seriousness though. To purchase all that stuff after the fact would be extremely cost ineffective, anything offered on the vehicle new would be available thought "parts" so I'm not sure why you think things aren't. I've never heard of anyone doing that. Besides, if you are going to put out the money you should probably go aftermarket. For example my installer adds a 2000 watt invertor with a factory looking plug for only about $900. Magnetic part, again call parts. Is it still under warranty? Did that piece break? If so go in and get it covered. -

wasn't going to, but here she is, you can see where they are mounted. You may want to try another route but this is the combo that works perfect for me, and functions FANTASTIC in the capacity you are needing. Hella conversion to the 55w HID's throws light so so far down the road it's awesome. The fogs are 125 or 130 watt (can't remember) piaa's that slice through inclement weather in isolated places really well. you can see the two rectangular little LED's directly beneath the fr bumper. You'r comment about the reverse light capability for those is dead on. I have halogen pointing sideways and rear under the vehicle in NO light situations to navigate and I am going to convert to those LED's soon. -

They don't throw that far, I don't think it's what your looking for. They howevber would be great in a combo with a pencil beam like the hella's we talked about. -
I would tell you what vanguy said. Call the tech line for the product, that would be my next step. You can check the Nissan harness side like heavy metal suggested however with the clicking under the dash I'd speculate it would not be that. Better to eliminate everything though.

RioRand® 18w LED Spot Work Light 1800 Lumen 6500K 30 degree Waterproof Light(2pcs) Retrofit isn't too bad, NV actually looks like a great candidate. -
Maybe you have already, but If I were you, I would start by next investigating the brake controller. Have you checked it out? I would suspect it to be faulty and or wired improperly based on your symptoms. Do your brake lights work on the van? If so to me the brake controller is even more highly suspect. The clicking sound? First guess would be an auto resetting breaker associated with the controller wiring/ installation. Who did the installation? Double check the work and be 100% sure the problem isn't there. If your 100% positive the wiring is correct (which should be simple enough to tell) I would then suspect the unit itself. Hope that helps :)

QUESTION: Safety while sleeping in van
Chris_CommercialManager replied to Daydreamin520's topic in Lounge - Nissan NV
I don't think the alarm will go off, I've never had it go off. I always go to a home depot and lowes and leave the side and rear door open but the front two locked (I have a steel partition installed) and I leave the van there with brochures and cards. People crawl all over that thing and I've never had a problem. As to your early warning and deterrent system it sounds to me that you are the perfect person for a proximity alarm. You can set it to have an audible warning to the would be intruder (or animal that wandered close), have a silent vibrate to a pager in your pocket, or just about whatever you want. But if that sends out a warning the would be intruder is far from ambushing you and will likely move on. And in the event they don't you have time to respond with whatever means you have access too. Proximity Alarm + Bear Mase = Good nights sleep for you and doggies?? :)- 15 replies

Oh man, I love, hate ikea. Its like like a vegas casino. No clocks, no perception of time, and it turns into a maze once your 100ft in. You need one thing, your in there for half the day and leave with a whole bunch of stuff you didn't realize you couldn't live without.ha -
QUESTION: Safety while sleeping in van
Chris_CommercialManager replied to Daydreamin520's topic in Lounge - Nissan NV
Not to state the obvious but bring a weapon if you're concerned and know how to use it. If not, I don't know where you're traveling but bear mace may be needed anyways. That stuff is strong enough to disable anyone on anything, immediately.- 15 replies

He already left the shop but he always comes here for service. Next time I see him I'll ask him and take more pictures for you. And yes it's welded and the bar has slight curve to it. -

I have used this product, from this seller and am very happy. They are BRIGHT. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KPF3CCS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 You can save big money vs the retrofit source too. It is a project but if you enjoy DIY's you can do the whole job for a little over $100 including HID bulbs, ballast, etc. I've used these before, check them out if you are interested. http://www.amazon.com/Nilight%C2%AE-MINI-BIXENON-PROJECTOR-LENS/dp/B00B21R0TA/ref=sr_1_1?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1428942571&sr=1-1&keywords=hid+retrofit I know what you mean on the Hella, still have them on the front of my 78 bronco, actually converted them to HID. Lighting is usually one of the first things I fiddle with on new vehicles. -
Had van in service today and thought I'd take some pictures for you guys. [/url]

If you're looking to improve your vision while driving at all times at night stay away from the led stuff. They do not have a "cut off" to allow them to be used when other cars are on the road. If it's strictly when you are the only car around that go for it. Those ebay specials you speak of are maybe 85% as bright as a rigid. You can see the attention to detail is not as good as a rigid but it's still very good on most of them. If you go that route you may want to invest in a some clear silicone to seal them up, some can tend to get water in them. If I were you, I would not just throw an HID in the factory shell as they can tend to blind oncoming traffic. While brighter it may not be good enough for what you are looking for. If you are handy, I could not recommend this company enough. I would do a projector retrofit http://www.theretrofitsource.com/ Do that and you'll never complain about the light from the headlights again. Last piece of advice, if you're going to buy LED buy off of amazon. Unlike the ebay sellers you can't see the review on the product your buying and don't really know if the unit has any inherit flaws or things you should know about. Pricing is very similair. -
Let the dealership take care of it. If it is as you've described it they should be able to help you. I'm not sure exactly where your at but I'm in Charlotte. However you should probably know that it is very likely it is a 2 trip visit to dealership as well.
